Fans around the league have been waiting for weeks now to see if the Timberwolves will trade Kevin Love, and if they do, where he will end up playing next season. Many teams have been mentioned as contenders to land the three-time All-Star, but if it comes down to the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets, Love is rumored to have a preference.
Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report reports that between those two Western Conference contenders, Love would prefer the Warriors over the Rockets. Of course the Wolves will look for the best trading partner to help their team, but Love's willingness to sign an extension with his new team would be a factor in who ultimately acquires him.

Both teams ended their seasons with disappointing early playoff exits; each losing in the first round after impressive regular seasons. Love would fit in nicely at power forward alongside either Andrew Bogut in Golden State or Dwight Howard in Houston, and would likely be the second scoring option on both teams after Stephen Curry or James Harden.
