Ex-Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson has yet to find a home after being released by the Titans a week ago. That does not mean that there is a shortage of suitors for the once dominant back from
Eastern Carolina University
A few teams have publicly shown interest in Johnson, even before his release. The Buffalo Bills inquired about a trade for Johnson prior to his release. According to NFL.com’s Chris Wesseling, the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons are the front-runners to sign Chris Johnson, With Buffalo and the Dallas Cowboys as second-tier contenders for Johnson.

The potential dark-horse candidate as first reported by nfl.com may be the Denver Broncos. Knowshon Moreno is now a member of the Miami Dolphins and Montee Ball had some ball security issues last season, there is room to flourish on this roster for Johnson.
Johnson is scheduled to select a landing spot within the next week and would add instant explosiveness to any teams’ offense. After eclipsing the 2000 yard mark in 2009 and basically telling the entire league that he would do it again, the closest Johnson has came is about 636 yards short of the mark.
Johnson has only produced 16 touchdowns over the last three seasons after registering 34 scores the three seasons before that. His production has slightly declined but he is still one of the best homerun-hitters this league has to offer at the running back position.
